As Light of hope children’s ministry uganda , our existence and passion to support the children especially orphans and other vulnerable children is driven by the fact that a number of children live in untold suffering and also lack an avenue for spiritual growth.
It can be agreed that survival in Uganda is hard but for children particularly the orphans is even harder.
A typical orphan in Uganda lives at the mercy of a world or community full of injustice, poverty, and at worst no opportunity to enjoy fellowship in the salvation of Christ.
Most of the children under our care are picked from a life where meeting the basics of life is a nightmare.
A life in a community where witchcraft is valued over the salvation of Lord Jesus Christ. Imagine a life where you are raised by a fellow child who is just slightly older, a life where a meal in a day comes by chance, a life where education, medicine, shelter, and clean water cannot be accessed.
Imagine living a life that misses out on the fun of childhood that is key for growth and development.
Such is the life of most of the children at the orphanage and those that Light of hope supports in their respective homes.
As Light of hope children’s ministry uganda we are driven by love to help these children access education and also nurture them spiritually so they can appreciate the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe the Lord has so loved us and his love for us grows every time we let it flow to others in society that have not been as fortunate as we are.
Society may want us to define ourselves through discovering ourselves but the Lord implores us to instead discover and look out for others in society through love.
It is for this reason that we at Light of hope children’s ministry uganda and the few of sponsors share the little they have with the less fortunate children that are under our care as light of hope children’s ministry.
There is no better happiness in the world than helping the people you don’t know and seeing them happy.
It is a good feeling to lighten the burdens of another. As the Lord says, Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the father is to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
We therefore call upon more men and women of God to join us in the struggle to have these children have hope in life.
